Are GMOs Slowing Down?

GMOs are scaryIf you keep up with what’s good and bad for your body, you know that GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) or GEs (Genetically Engineered foods)) are harmful.

Scientists are making changes to the DNA of the crops, supposedly to make them hardier. But these changes have proven to be harmful to people and animals.

And, to add to the insult, “superweeds and superpests are popping up all over the world.”

I find it hard to understand why everyone isn’t on this band wagon to protect our foods, especially for our babies and children. The government doesn’t care, but we had better.

According to the Center for Food Safety, “Currently, up to 92% of U.S. corn is genetically engineered (GE), as are 94% of soybeans and 94% of cotton (cottonseed oil is often used in food products).”

This is just scary!

Did you know that in the European Union there are very few GMOs available in the supermarkets? And, they’re the largest agricultural market on the entire planet.

The good news is it seems that people around the world are buying less GMOs. This is slowing down their production . . . hopefully this trends continues.

Do yourself and your family a healthy favor, stop eating GE foods.

But, don’t take my word for it. Read up on it from multiple sources. Become informed then take action.
